Job summary

Milacron India is seeking a Senior Buyer Analyst with 8–10 years of experience in procurement of engineering goods. You will manage 30–40 suppliers, including imports, for hydraulic pumps, cylinders, pipes, and lubrication parts.

The role emphasizes negotiation, supplier development, and ERP-based purchasing, with a focus on cost reduction and timely material flow. You will collaborate with Design and Quality to develop suppliers, resolve quality issues, and ensure alignment with ERP processes.

Position Summary:

Senior engineer for the post of Buyer analyst with experience in engineering sector who required to handle 30 to 40 suppliers including Imports of multiple verity like Hydraulic Pumps, Hydraulic Cylinders, Hydraulic Pipes Lubrication Pumps etc.

Work You’ll Do:

• Work for achieving decided organization Goals and KPI’s.
• Responsible for getting Material on time from all suppliers as per requirement.
• Managing and controlling inventory as per organizations Goal.
• Need to have good communication skill and negotiation skill as need to work with many overseas suppliers.
• Get RFQ for any new parts released from Design and compare pricing and negotiate properly before adding into system
• Work with supplier for Negotiation to get price reduction based on commodity trend and annual volumes.
• Develop new suppliers based on requirement along with Design and Quality.
• Work with supplier to resolve on going Quality issue and clearing open PDF Timely. Understand warranty clause of supplier and act accordingly to avoid any additional cost impact due to Quality issue of supplier.
• Should have Knowledge of ERP tool for purchase. Oracle is preferable.
• Attending daily and weekly meetings related to Quality, Planning, supplier review, Cost reductions, Supplier development, etc

This position will be part of Supply Chain Milacron India.

Basic Qualifications:

• 8 to 10 years or more experience in Procurement of engineering goods

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience of using ERP.
• Experience of using Microsoft Excel.
• Supplier long term Agreements.
• Team player with excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
