Job summary

Nesans Mining and Automation Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support erection, commissioning and maintenance across Tamil Nadu. You will work with senior service engineers, visit customer plants, diagnose faults and ensure plants run smoothly.

Fresh graduates or up to 1 year of experience are welcome. Training at the Coimbatore factory is provided, with travel and site work a key part of the role.

Qualifications

• Mechanical basics include bearings, gears, belts, lubrication, hydraulics.
• Electrical basics cover motors, starters, PLC/VFD awareness.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Customer-first attitude and clear reporting.

Responsibilities

• Support erection, commissioning and trial runs of crushers, screens, sand washers, conveyors and feeders.
• Check alignment, drive trains, lubrication, hydraulics and control panels before start-up.
• Carry out preventive maintenance on wear parts, belts and lubrication.
• Respond to breakdown calls across Tamil Nadu and diagnose mechanical/electrical faults.
• Repair or replace bearings, gearboxes, screen decks and hydraulic cylinders under guidance.
• Assist in troubleshooting PLC and VFD faults.
• Train customer operators and submit a service report after visits.
• Look after service vehicle spare parts kit and raise indents on time.
• Follow site safety rules: LOTO, PPE and toolbox talks.

Nesans Mining and Automation Pvt. Ltd. is a Coimbatore-based engineering company that designs and manufactures crushing, screening, washing, conveying, feeding and recycling equipment. Our range includes Jaw, Cone, VSI and HSI Crushers, Vibrating Screens, Sand Washers, Belt and Radial Stacker Conveyors, and complete crushing and washing plants. Nesans also offers the nes-ON IoT platform for real-time equipment monitoring.

Role Summary

The Field Service Engineer is a frontline technical representative of Nesans at customer sites across Tamil Nadu. Working with senior service engineers, the role supports commissioning, carries out planned maintenance, helps resolve breakdowns, and keeps customers' plants running. Full training on Nesans equipment is provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Support erection, commissioning and trial runs of crushers, screens, sand washers, conveyors and feeders.
• Check alignment, drive trains, lubrication, hydraulics and control panels before start-up.
• Carry out preventive maintenance on wear parts (jaws, mantles, blow bars, rotor tips), screen media, belts and lubrication.
• Respond to breakdown calls across Tamil Nadu and help diagnose mechanical and electrical faults.
• Repair or replace bearings, gearboxes, screen decks, idlers, pulleys and hydraulic cylinders, under guidance until trained.
• Assist in troubleshooting PLC and VFD faults.
• Train customer operators, and submit a service report after every visit.
• Look after the service vehicle spare parts kit and raise indents on time.
• Follow site safety rules: LOTO, PPE, confined space and toolbox talks.

Required Skills

• Mechanical basics: bearings, gearboxes, belts, lubrication and hydraulics.
• Electrical basics: motors and starters; awareness of PLC and VFD.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Customer-first attitude and clear reporting.

Qualifications

• B.E. in Mechanical, Electrical (EEE) or Mining Engineering - freshers, or up to 1 year of experience.
• Fluent in Tamil and English.
• Valid two-wheeler driving licence.
• Willing to travel and stay at customer sites across Tamil Nadu.
