Job summary

CH01 CHE Fresenius Medical Care (Schweiz) AG is seeking an on-site Field Service Engineer in Mumbai, India for installation, training, repair and maintenance of dialysis equipment. You will engage customers, collaborate with sales teams, and ensure service targets are met while managing spare parts, inventory and invoicing.

• Experience performing on-site installations and maintenance of complex equipment.

• Experience handling billing, invoicing and accounts receivable related to service work.
• Stock/inventory management of spare parts and tools.
• Proficient in entering data into CRM and generating reports.
• Ability to document field activities in service reports and related records.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide escalation support.
• Support area managers with resource planning and cross-location needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical interventions: install, train, repair, maintain machinery at client sites.

• 1. Provide on-site technical interventions, including installation, training, repair, and maintenance, to ensure optimal operation of machinery at client sites.
• 2. Engage with customers to deliver necessary technical support, fostering strong and positive customer relationships.
• 3. Collaborate with the sales and dealer teams by sharing technical insights and support to enhance sales opportunities and business growth.
• 4. Complete required technical training and assessments to continually enhance technical proficiency and deliver high-quality service to clients.
• 5. Achieve service targets by negotiating and securing Service Contracts and spare part sales, while managing billing, invoicing, and accounts receivable related to routine service activities.
• 6. Oversee personal inventory, including spare parts and tools, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper management.
• 7. Execute technical tasks assigned by team leadership in a timely and efficient manner.
• 8. Utilize technical management systems effectively to ensure accurate and complete data entry.
• 9. Document all technical activities thoroughly in Field Service Reports, CRM software, and other prescribed administrative records.
• 10. Mentor junior engineers through technical escalation support and customer relationship building.
• 11. Aid and support your Area Technical Manager in managing the cadence of Preventive Maintenance and timely installations.
• 12. Support other Area Technical Manager locations when Dynamic Resource Allocation is required and requested by your manager.
