Job summary

Johnson Controls Ltd. is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and support ELV and security systems in Bengaluru. The role covers Access Control, CCTV, FAS, and BMS, with emphasis on hardware, software, and network issues.

You will perform installations, commissioning, and preventive maintenance, while diagnosing and resolving problems and ensuring high uptime for client sites. Travel to client locations is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Electronics/Electrical/Instrumentation/CS.
• 4–5 years hands-on experience in Access Control, FAS, CCTV, Servers, and BMS.
• Strong networking knowledge including IP addressing, switches, routers.
• Ability to read drawings and schematics.
• Willingness to travel to client sites.
• Strong communication and customer-handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, test, and maintain Access Control, CCTV, FAS, and BMS systems.

The candidate should have strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to provide timely support to clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues in security and automation systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Computer Science, or a related field.

Minimum 4 to 5 years of hands‑on experience in: Access Control Systems Fire Alarm Systems (FAS) CCTV Surveillance Systems Server Installation and Troubleshooting Building Management Systems (BMS)

Good knowledge of networking concepts, IP addressing, switches, and routers.

Experience with system integration and troubleshooting.

Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and system layouts.

Strong communication and customer-handling skills.

Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
