Job summary

Black Box is seeking an ELV Engineer to lead installation, commissioning and integration of Fire detection, Fire alarm, Fire suppression, PA system, CCTV, Access Control and ELV systems across projects.

The role requires reviewing MEP drawings, specs and SOPs, ensuring 100% quality, safety, and timely delivery with strong vendor and client interaction.

Qualifications

JD for ELV Engineer

Installation & commission experience of Fire detection , Fire alarm, Fire suppression, PA system , WLD, Rodent and knowledge in CCTV, Access Control, Gate automation like Boom /Flap Barrier, Bollard , entry solutions, BMS of Multiple OEMs Ie. CP Plus, Hikvision, Pelco, Honeywell, Bosch, Axis, Solus, eSSL, HID, Spectra, Dorma Caba, Agni, Ravel, Edward, Notifier, Morley, Novec, FM200, Bosch PA, Honeywell PA, Magnetic Auto control, Boon Edams, Gunnebo, Siemens, D-Link etc.

• Review project inputs and specifications; should be able to capture the scope and understand the complete requirements of the project.
• Review MEP drawings, specification, SOP and identify equipment related to Fire & Security System, Access, Surveillance Video, PA system, Intrusion alarm, entry automation, Complete ELV system etc.
• Commissioning of installed equipment related to Fire & Security System, Access, Video Surveillance, Intrusion , PA System, Automation systems, Complete ELV system etc.
• Deliver/execute projects and ensure to meet 100% quality (Scope, Schedule and Budget defined for a project) and high level of customer satisfaction.
• Work closely with the project management team to achieve customer acceptance.
• Demonstrate application & technical expertise to get repeat orders and retain customer satisfaction.
• Ensuring safety and quality in project execution
• Monitoring cash flow & review on project costing
• Vendor management
• Claim management.
• Coordination on design and drawing approval.
• Monitoring on daily project execution
• Maintaining EHS
• Keep focusing on requirement and satisfaction of end user
• Preparation and participation for project kick-off / review meetings with technical queries, compliance / deviations log, risk logs and record minutes of meeting.
• Ensure quality assurance, defect free deliverables, on time deliveries and customer satisfaction.
• Mobilization of resources.
• Escalate issues in the right time, so as not to affect the project delivery schedule; any escalations with respect to scope-creep must be clearly backed up with evidence.
• Keep operational parameters at desired level for all assigned projects.
• Ensure timesheet compliance with respect to entry and review for self and team.
• Preparation of schedule and monitor the progress.
• Weekly/Monthly customer reporting for project progress.
• Prepare job specific procedures for processes to ensure quality and safety.
• Timely Invoicing and Collection of Outstanding bill payment from client
• Handing over completed utilities.
• Strong knowledge of Fire, PA, Security Systems (Access, Surveillance Video, Intrusion, WLD, VESDA etc ) and all ELV systems.
• Expertise in Security & EHS Guidelines.
• Must be a quick learner, team player & should have a keen eye for problem solving.
