Job summary

Rotex is seeking a Field Service Engineer in Vadodara, India to service solenoid valves at customer sites. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs or replacements, and document site visits and MOMs with accuracy.

Excellent hands-on skills in mechanical and electrical repair, technical drawing interpretation, and familiarity with service tools are required. You will coordinate with internal teams and ensure timely, professional customer support on-site.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with solenoid valve servicing and diagnostics.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Familiarity with servicing tools, instruments and test equipment.

Field Service Engineer

Responsibilities

• Attend and resolve customer complaints at customer sites in a timely and professional manner.
• Diagnose issues and carry out service, repair, or replacement of solenoid valves at customer locations, as required.
• Prepare and submit detailed service reports, site visit reports, and Minutes of Meeting (MOM) after each visit.
• Provide technical support to customers/end users through telephonic discussions, video calls, and email communication, with the objective of resolving issues remotely before visiting the site whenever feasible.
• Maintain accurate records of site visits, service activities, observations, and corrective actions taken.
• Coordinate with internal teams (Service, Quality, and Sales) for replacement, servicing, and maintenance of valves at the factory, and maintain records for audit purposes.
