Job summary

Kriya Tech in Vadodara, Gujarat, is seeking a Field Service Engineer responsible for post-sale services, installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance for customers, including handling billing inquiries and service requests.

The candidate will build ongoing client relationships, assess and propose equipment upgrades, and may train customers on HRS equipment. Diploma in plastics tech or tool making with 3–6 years experience preferred; injection molding and hot runner knowledge advantageous.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Plastics technology or Diploma in Tool making with 3–6 years of experience.
• Experience with injection molding equipment preferred.
• Knowledge of post-sale technical support and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide post-sale technical support including installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Offer technical advice, identify problems, and suggest improvements or upgrades.
• Develop ongoing relationships with customers to secure future business and train users on features of HRS equipment.
• Manage workload with supervision; handle billing inquiries, service requests, suggestions and complaints.

Role & responsibilities

• The Field service engineer should be able to do new and existing customers with the best possible service in relation to billing inquiries, service requests, suggestions, and complaints. Provides post-sale technical support services to customers, including installation, troubleshooting, problem resolution, and maintenance.
• The Field Service engineer should be able to technical advice to customers including Identifying and correcting more complex problems associated with start-up. Researching, evaluating, and recommending new products or equipment upgrades that will meet customer needs.
• Developing ongoing relationships with customers to secure future business. May resolve/troubleshoot implementation problems and/or train customers on the features of the HRS equipment they have purchased.
• Job duties encompass a variety of straightforward tasks; processes, or systems OR focused on specific routine tasks. Ability to recognize and solve typical problems without supervisory approval. Manages own workload, with periodic guidance under moderate supervision

Preferred candidate profile

Diploma in Plastics technology , Diploma in Tool making & equivalent courses with 3-6 Years of experience.

Processing knowledge on Injection molding machine, Hot runner systems.
