Qualifications

• Diploma or BE/BTech in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• 3–8 years of servicing crushing and screening plants or related equipment.
• Knowledge of crushers, screens, conveyors and maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and start-up crushing and screening plants per OEM standards.
• Perform preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of plant equipment.
• Provide on-site technical support and training to customer teams.
• Analyze failures, recommend upgrades, and coordinate with parts teams for resolution.
• Identify spare part needs and support AMC planning.

Job Purpose

To provide installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical support for crushing and screening equipment, ensuring maximum plant availability, productivity, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Installation & Commissioning

• Execute installation, commissioning, and start-up activities for crushing and screening plants.
• Ensure equipment is commissioned as per OEM standards and safety requirements.
• Conduct performance trials and plant handover to customers.

Service & Maintenance

• Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of crushers, screens, feeders, conveyors, and associated plant equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and automation-related issues.
• Carry out inspections and prepare service reports with improvement recommendations.
• Monitor plant health and suggest corrective actions to improve equipment reliability.

Customer Support

• Provide on-site technical assistance and training to customer maintenance and operations teams.
• Support customers in troubleshooting operational and process-related challenges.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure timely resolution of service issues.

Technical Support

• Analyze equipment failures and identify root causes.
• Recommend upgrades, modifications, and best maintenance practices.
• Coordinate with engineering, product support, and spare parts teams for issue resolution.

Spare Parts & Service Planning

• Identify spare part requirements and support inventory planning.
• Promote spare parts sales and annual maintenance contracts (AMCs).
• Ensure timely submission of service reports, inspection reports, and warranty claims.

Safety & Compliance

• Adhere to company safety standards and site regulations.
• Conduct all service activities in compliance with EHS guidelines.
• Participate in safety audits and toolbox talks.

• First-time fix rate.

Educational Qualification

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

Experience

• 3 to 8 years of experience in servicing crushing and screening plants, mining equipment, quarry equipment, or heavy construction machinery.
• Experience with jaw crushers, cone crushers, VSI crushers, impact crushers, vibrating screens, feeders, and conveyor systems preferred.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of crushing and screening processes.
• Understanding of hydraulic systems, power transmission, bearings, lubrication systems, and automation controls.
• Ability to read mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical drawings.
• Knowledge of condition monitoring and root cause analysis techniques.
• Familiarity with PLC-based plant controls is an advantage.
