Job summary

ABB Motion in Ahmedabad, India, is seeking a Field Service Engineer / Commissioning Engineer with 3–6 years of on-site PLC/SCADA/HMI experience. You will lead on-site activities, interface with customers, and drive commissioning projects while adhering to ABB guidelines and safety standards.

Travel is mandatory; renewable field experience is a plus. BE/BTech in Electrical/EC/EI is required, and you will work across various industrial automation projects.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech in Electrical-related field with 3–6 years on-site commissioning experience.
• Strong hands-on site and commissioning experience in PLC-based automation projects.
• Willingness to travel; renewable field experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, development, testing and commissioning of PLC/SCADA/HMI automation projects.
• Plan and execute on-site activities and interface with customers and third-party teams.
• Lead discussions, propose resolutions and ensure ABB guidelines and sales goals are met.
• Document and report project progress; manage customer expectations and compliance.
