Job summary

Star Health Insurance is seeking a Field Sales/Operations Team Lead to manage and mentor a team of FOS executives, driving direct sales and meeting daily, weekly, and monthly targets.

You will accompany field staff on visits, coach on negotiations, and monitor KPIs like conversion and TAT, ensuring adherence to policies and data security. Remote role with openings in Jaipur and Amritsar; training and evaluations included.

Qualifications

• 2 to 7 years in field sales, channel sales, or operations.
• At least 1-2 years in a team-handling role.
• Bachelor's degree (B.Com, BBA, etc.).

• Resolve high-priority customer escalations and disputes in the field.
• Ensure compliance with policies, regulators, and data security; submit reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Management: Train, and mentor Field Sales/Operations Executives (FOS). Conduct regular team briefings and performance reviews.
• Target Achievement: Assign daily, weekly, and monthly targets to team members. Drive direct sales, Collect NOPs.
• Field Monitoring: Accompany team members on field visits for on-the-job coaching, customer negotiations, and quality checks.
• Performance Tracking: Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) like conversion rates, turnaround time (TAT), and field productivity metrics
• Escalation Handling: Resolve high-priority customer escalations and disputes that arise in the field.
• Compliance & Reporting: Ensure the team strictly adheres to company policies, regulatory guidelines, and data security standards. Submit daily/weekly performance and progress reports

Typical Requirements

• Experience: 2 to 7 years in field sales, channel sales, or operations, with at least 1-2 years in a team-handling role.
• Education: Typically a Bachelors degree (B.Com, BBA, etc.) or equivalent.
• Skills: Strong negotiation, team motivation, conflict resolution, and local geography knowledge.
• Industry: Common in Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI), logistics, telecom, and FMCG sectors
