Job summary

PAYTM SERVICES PVT LTD in Indore seeks a Field Sales Executive to promote and onboard merchants to PAYTM’s digital payment solutions, including QR codes and POS terminals. You will visit merchants, explain product features, complete documentation, and activate services.

You will maintain relationships with existing merchants, handle queries, and support the sales team to hit regional growth targets through daily visits and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with merchants and explain product offerings clearly.
• Sales and negotiation skills to identify opportunities, convert leads, and achieve daily and monthly targets.
• Basic digital and financial literacy to understand payment products, mobile apps, and related services.
• Organizational and time management skills to plan field visits, manage documentation, and report activities accurately.
• Relevant experience in field sales, retail sales, or merchant onboarding is preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in Indore, travel locally, and operate independently in the field.
• Minimum educational qualification of a high school diploma; a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is an advantage.
• Comfort with using smartphones and basic productivity tools for reporting and communication.

Responsibilities

Role Description
