Role Description

The Field Sales Executive role at PAYTM SERVICES PVT LTD is a full-time, on-site position based in Aurangabad. The individual in this role will visit merchants and local businesses to promote and onboard them to Paytm's payment and financial service solutions. Daily tasks include meeting sales targets, explaining product features and benefits, assisting with registration and setup, and providing basic training on how to use Paytm tools. The role involves building and nurturing relationships with merchants, gathering feedback from the field, and coordinating with internal teams to resolve issues promptly. The Field Sales Executive is also responsible for maintaining accurate records of visits, leads, and conversions, and representing the brand professionally in the local market.

Qualifications

• Strong sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to meet and exceed field sales targets.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with diverse merchants and customers.
• Basic understanding of digital payments or fintech products, with the ability to explain technical features in simple terms.
• Proficiency in using smartphones and common mobile apps; familiarity with CRM or lead-tracking tools is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently in the field, manage time effectively, and plan daily routes and visits in Aurangabad.
• Prior experience in field sales, retail sales, or merchant onboarding is preferred but not mandatory.
• Minimum educational qualification: high school diploma; a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
• Comfort with traveling locally within Aurangabad and surrounding areas, and flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment.
