Responsibilities

• Field Sourcing & Candidate Acquisition: source candidates locally, visit markets, use social media, referrals, agencies.
• Recruitment & Screening: conduct telephonic and in-person screening, verify documents, brief on job terms.
• Recruitment Drives: organize walk-ins, coordinate with station managers, ensure turnout.
• Candidate Follow-Up & Conversion: follow up until joining, address queries, minimize dropouts.
• Onboarding Coordination: coordinate onboarding with HR/ops, collect documents, register in HRMS.
• Manpower Planning & Coordination: communicate daily hiring needs to managers, track progress.

DropX Logistics is a last-mile and quick commerce logistics company operating across multiple Indian states, managing a large-scale gig workforce across delivery and dark store operations.

We are looking for a Field Executive to own end-to-end Delivery Associate mass recruitment.

Job Purpose

The Field Executive will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, screening, and onboarding Delivery Associates (DAs) for last-mile delivery operations. The role requires extensive field activity, local-area sourcing, candidate engagement, and coordination with station/operations teams to ensure the required manpower is available as per business requirements.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in the field, interacting with a high volume of candidates, conducting recruitment drives, and achieving daily/weekly hiring targets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Field Sourcing & Candidate Acquisition

• Identify and source potential Delivery Associate candidates through:
• Local market visits
• social media
• Employee referrals
• Local recruitment agencies
• WhatsApp groups and community networks
• Posters, flyers and local advertisements
• Recruitment camps and walk-in drives
• Visit high-footfall locations and potential candidate catchment areas to generate leads.
• Build and maintain a strong local candidate pipeline.

2. Recruitment & Screening

• Conduct initial telephonic and face-to-face screening of candidates.
• Explain job responsibilities, salary structure, incentives, working hours, location, and other employment conditions.
• Assess candidates based on basic eligibility, communication skills, availability, location, and suitability for the DA role.
• Verify candidate documents and collect required information.
• Maintain an updated candidate database and recruitment tracker.

3. Recruitment Drives

• Organize and conduct regular walk-in interviews and recruitment drives at stations and other suitable locations.
• Coordinate with Station Managers/Team Leaders for manpower requirements.
• Plan sourcing activities based on daily and weekly manpower gaps.
• Ensure adequate candidate turnout during recruitment drives.

4. Candidate Follow-Up & Conversion

• Regularly follow up with shortlisted candidates until joining.
• Address candidate queries regarding salary, incentives, shifts, location, and joining process.
• Reduce candidate dropouts between screening, selection, offer, and joining stages.
• Maintain a pipeline of backup candidates to meet urgent manpower requirements.

5. Onboarding Coordination

• Coordinate with HR and operations teams for candidate onboarding.
• Ensure candidates submit all required documents within the stipulated timeline.
• Support completion of joining formalities and HRMS registration.
• Track candidates from selection to actual joining and deployment.

6. Manpower Planning & Coordination

• Understand station-wise manpower requirements and recruitment priorities.
• Maintain daily communication with Station Managers/Cluster Managers regarding open positions.
• Prioritize recruitment for stations with critical manpower shortages.
• Provide daily updates on sourcing, screening, selection, and joining numbers.
