Job summary

Mistral Networks India P Ltd is seeking a Telecom Field Engineer to install, commission, and integrate Ribbon IP & Optical Network equipment at telecom sites. You will coordinate with site technicians for access, verify installation materials, and ensure connections align with the network plan.

The role requires travel to sites across Tamil Nadu and Kerala, with a 1-month training period and accommodation provided. Flexible hours may be required to meet project timelines.

Qualifications

• Willing to undergo 1 month of real-time training at telecom sites.
• Willingness to travel to various locations in Tamil Nadu or Kerala.
• Ability to work flexible hours as per project requirements.
• Outstation accommodation will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Installation, commissioning, and integration of Ribbon IP & Optical Network equipment/routers at Telecom sites.
• Coordinate with site technician for site access, confirm RFI, and verify installation materials.
• Lay power/grounding cables to DCDB/Power plant, label MCBs, and power on IP Network/Optical Network Equipment.
• Patch cable, network cable routing, labeling, and connecting to network ports according to the Network Plan.
• Conduct site acceptance checks (AT), punch point clearances, and handover of balance materials to the customer.
• Submitting installation and commissioning reports in an android application according to guidelines.
• There will be 1 month of real-time training at telecommunication sites.
• The job involves travelling and reaching out to site at various locations in Tamil Nadu or in Kerala.
• As per project requirements, the candidate should be able to work flexible hours.
• Outstation accommodation will be provided.
• Food Allowance will be provided after successful completion of one month training period.

Role & responsibilities

As a Telecom Field Engineer, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Installation, commissioning, and integration of Ribbon Communication IP & Optical Network equipment/routers at Telecom sites
• Contacting the site technician for site access, confirmation of the RFI, and determining the availability of Installation materials.
• Laying power/grounding cable to DCDB/Power plant, tapping the DCDB MCB, labelling the DCDB MCB, and Power on IP Network/Optical Network Equipment.
• Patch cable, Network cable Routing, labelling, and connecting to the Network ports according to the Network Plan
• Conduct site acceptance checks (AT), punch point clearances, and handover of balance materials to the customer.
• Submitting installation and commissioning reports in an android application according to guidelines.
