Job summary

Mimic Infotech Private Limited is seeking a Field Application Engineer in Pune to deliver pre-sales and post-sales technical support for industrial automation, machine vision, instrumentation, and data acquisition systems. You will work with customers, sales teams and OEM partners to design and implement automation solutions while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or diploma in electronics, instrumentation, electrical, mechatronics, automation or related field.
• 0–2 years in industrial automation, instrumentation, machine vision, or control systems. Freshers with strong knowledge may apply.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer requirements and propose automation/instrumentation solutions.
• Conduct product demonstrations, presentations and POC activities.
• Provide pre-sales technical support to sales team.
• Assist with system architecture, product selection and application engineering.
• Perform installation, commissioning, testing and troubleshooting at customer sites.
• Support machine vision, sensors, safety components, PLCs, DAQ systems, industrial networking and OPC integration projects.
• Prepare technical proposals, BOMs, notes and documentation.
• Coordinate with OEMs and principals for technical support and project execution.
• Conduct customer training sessions and workshops.
• Maintain project reports and customer feedback.

• Provide pre‑sales technical support to the sales team.
• Assist customers with product selection, system architecture, and application engineering.

Required Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in Industrial Automation, Instrumentation, Machine Vision, or Control Systems.
• Freshers with strong technical knowledge and project experience may also apply.
