Job summary

Virya Autonomous Technologies seeks an Engineer - Field Applications to join the Field Engineering team for on-site deployment, commissioning, and support of Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) systems at customer locations across Ahmedabad. You will install, troubleshoot, and monitor deployed AMR platforms while training operators and maintaining service records.

This hands-on role requires travel to sites, collaboration with internal teams, and a proactive approach to keeping AMR systems running

Qualifications

• Diploma in Robotics/Mechatronics or related discipline with up to 3 years of relevant experience. Immediate joiners only.
• Basic understanding of mechatronics, electrical, mechanical, and control fundamentals.
• Familiarity with sensors, motors, and automation concepts used in AMR platforms.
• Willingness to travel extensively for site deployment and service support.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission AMR systems at customer sites, supporting initial setup, testing, and validation of operations.
• Attend breakdown calls and troubleshoot hardware, software, and operational issues on deployed systems.
• Coordinate with internal technical teams to diagnose and resolve field issues.
• Monitor AMR performance to ensure maximum utilization and uptime across sites.
• Train operators and supervisors on safe and effective AMR usage.
• Support adherence to SOPs and operational best practices at customer locations.
