Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an FEA Engineer to drive tire design and performance using Finite Element Analysis and advanced simulations. You will mentor junior analysts, contribute to digital transformation, and collaborate with global teams to meet regulatory and development milestones.

You will work with Python, VBA and shell scripting, supporting mold design, data reporting and knowledge sharing. Fresh graduates and 0–3 year experienc es are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with FEA and analytical tools to define mold shapes and assess tire performance.
• Strong knowledge of Finite Element Analysis and Strength of Materials.
• Basic knowledge of materials strength principles.
• Adaptability to meet business demand through polyvalency across zones.
• Problem solving skills and continuous learning mindset.
• Proficiency in Python, VBA, and shell scripting.
• Experience with Power Platforms.
• Graduate or Post-Graduate in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering (0–3 years).

Responsibilities

• Use FEA and other analytical tools to define mold shapes meeting regulatory requirements.
• Conduct FEA studies to determine tire performance under design and usage variations.
• Assess scenarios in tireline or OE development using FEA and analytics.
• Present simulation results and advise design decisions.
• Mentor and train new analysts and tire designers as needed.

Job description

• Use FEA and other analytical tools to define mold shapes meeting internal homologation, tireline, government/regulatory, and industrial requirements
• Conduct FEA analytical studies to determine tire performance based on design and/or usage variations
• Assess proposed scenarios during tireline or OE development project feasibility studies using FEA and other analytical techniques
• Present simulation results and consult on design decisions inside and outside design event activities
• Perform Key-user, Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar responsibilities as needed
• Engage in technical exchanges, including Tech Club and Focus Group participation
• Adhere to company policies and meet project deadlines
• Create reports on golden nuggets, fundamental knowledge, new design rules, tire mechanics, and analysis methods
• Document simulation methods and Level-1 best practices
• Share knowledge and develop people through Tire Design School teaching and mentoring/training new analysts and tire designers
• Engage in development and testing of new simulation tools and provide feedback
• Liaise across global regions to ensure alignment and excellence in collaborative efforts
