Job summary

Quest Global in Bengaluru is seeking a Lead Technical Reviewer to ensure quality and technical correctness of deliverables across multiple small teams. You will validate analyses (FEA, thermal, stress, vibrations), review documentation, and provide feedback to improve accuracy and efficiency.

You will also mentor engineers, lead technical reviews, and drive continuous improvement through automation and productivity initiatives, while maintaining strong customer engagement and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of related experience in mechanical/industrial engineering.
• Convergence troubleshooting in FEA tools like Ansys and Hypermesh.
• Experience with 3D modeling tools (NX/SolidWorks/CREO) and GD&T.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Japanese language N1/N2 is a plus.

• Lead technical reviews to ensure deliverables' technical correctness.

Job Requirements

As a Lead Technical Reviewer, you will be responsible for the Quality of the deliverables for one or multiple smaller teams including the Final deliverable reviews from Technical correctness standpoint, Documentation correctness, and implied requirements handling. Also providing feedback, Training the team, Measurement and Analysis, Gap bridging are essential requirements.

• Delivery Excellence by Effectively Reviewing of the deliverables for the team and to drive the projects by ensuring timely deliverables with quality.
• Responsible & accountable for executing medium to high complex sub-system related projects with complete ownership.
• Validate detailed analysis reports including structural analysis, finite element analysis (FEA), thermal analysis, heat transfer, stress, vibrations, fluid and gas flow dynamics, and manufacturability to properly verify new and existing designs.
• Do hand calculations leveraging a strong foundation in engineering fundamentals.
• Performing and Validating low cycle fatigue, high cycle fatigue and detailed fracture mechanics assessments of Aero engine static & rotating components.
• Ability to interpret and validate the results and provide technical solutions.
• Prepare high-quality reports and technical presentations to clearly communicate design intent, analysis, and validation to a diverse audience in design reviews.
• Provide technical leadership, coaching & mentoring to enable engineers in the team to meet job expectations.
• Value addition initiatives for organization and customer by identifying, initiating and implementing the automation/productivity improvement opportunities.
• Ensuring timely and high-quality deliveries for all projects.

Work Experience

• Minimum of 10 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in Mechanical/ Industrial/ Mechatronics Engineering
• Convergence Trouble shooting Expertise in FEA tools like Ansys and Hypermesh
• Good to have exposure to customer specific tools like Siesta
• In-depth knowledge in structural analysis, finite element analysis (FEA), thermal analysis, heat transfer, stress, vibrations, fluid and gas flow dynamics, and manufacturability to properly verify new and existing designs.
• Problem Identification and troubleshooting of medium-high complex engineering challenges.
• Expertise in any 3D modeling tool (NX/Solid works/CREO etc.), drafting standards, GD&T, Tolerance Stack-up, their use & interpretation on the drawings.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver design reviews, understanding of various stages of product development processes and ability to work in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Excellent Communication Skills and Stakeholder Management
• Japanese Language N1/N2 Certification is added advantage
• Understanding any programming language like VBA, Python will be helpful
