Key Responsibilities
- Research & Trend Analysis: Study fashion trends, market needs, and consumer preferences.
- Design & Conceptualization: Sketch ideas, develop themes, and use CAD to create digital designs.
- Material Selection: Choose fabrics, colors, trims, and embellishments.
- Prototyping: Work with pattern makers to create initial samples and prototypes.
- Production Oversight: Guide manufacturers and production teams to ensure designs are made correctly.
- Collaboration: Work with other designers, creative directors, and marketing teams.
- Presentation: Present designs at fashion shows, trade shows, or to retailers.
- Brand Alignment: Ensure designs fit the brand's identity and target market.
