Pace Digitek Limited in Bengaluru seeks a senior leader to head the new fabrication facility from inception to full commercial production. You will oversee plant setup, machinery installation, utility readiness and production ramp‑up, ensuring safety, quality and cost control.

You will build and guide the entire factory team across Production, Quality, Maintenance, HSE, Stores and Administration, implementing SOPs and continuous improvement to achieve operational excellence.

Formación

• BE/B.Tech in Mechanical, Production or Industrial Engineering is required.
• 20+ years in fabrication, heavy engineering or industrial manufacturing.
• Proven greenfield plant setup, commissioning and ramp‑up experience.
• Strong leadership and cross‑functional coordination across Production, Quality, HSE, Maintenance, Stores and Administration.

Responsabilidades

• Lead end‑to‑end establishment, commissioning and operational management of a new fabrication facility.

• Establish quality systems, welding standards, inspection and CAPA mechanisms.

• Build and lead the full factory team across Production, Quality, Maintenance, HSE, Stores and Admin.
• Drive trial production, process validation and ramp‑up to stable commercial operation.
• Implement SOPs, preventive maintenance, lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with Corporate Management and cross‑functional teams on readiness and performance.

Role Purpose

To lead the end-to-end establishment, commissioning, and operational management of a new fabrication manufacturing facility. The incumbent will be responsible for plant setup, team building, trial production, operational stabilization, and scaling up to full commercial production, ensuring efficiency, quality, safety, and cost effectiveness.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Plant Setup & Commissioning: Lead plant infrastructure development, machinery installation, equipment commissioning, production layout, utility readiness, and overall factory operational preparedness.
• Production & Operations: Take complete ownership of fabrication operations, production planning, capacity utilization, productivity, delivery schedules, and manufacturing cost optimization.
• Quality Management: Establish quality systems, inspection processes, welding standards, quality assurance, and corrective and preventive action mechanisms.
• HSE Management: Ensure statutory compliance, workplace safety, environmental standards, risk assessments, and implementation of robust HSE practices.
• Stores & Inventory: Establish stores and inventory management systems, ensuring material availability, stock accuracy, traceability, and effective material utilization.
• Team Building: Build and lead the complete factory team across Production, Quality, Maintenance, HSE, Stores, and Administration, defining organizational structures and performance objectives.
• Trial & Commercial Production: Drive trial production, process validation, production ramp‑up, and transition to stable commercial operations.
• Operational Excellence: Implement SOPs, preventive maintenance, lean manufacturing, productivity improvement, cost control, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Management Coordination: Coordinate with Corporate Management and cross‑functional teams, providing regular updates on plant readiness, operational performance, risks, and key deliverables.

Desired Candidate Profile

• BE/B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 20+ years of experience in fabrication, heavy engineering, structural fabrication, or industrial manufacturing.
• Proven experience in greenfield manufacturing plant setup, commissioning, and production ramp‑up.
• Strong exposure to end-to-end factory management covering Production, Quality, HSE, Maintenance, and Stores.
• Demonstrated ability to build teams, establish manufacturing processes, and independently lead large-scale factory operations.
• Excellent leadership, decision‑making, problem‑solving, and cross‑functional coordination skills.
