Job summary

Suchi Industries Ltd. seeks a seasoned Operations Leader to head textile plant operations across production, planning, quality, maintenance and dispatch, driving 100% machine utilisation and overall plant efficiency.

You will own the production numbers, design SOPs and daily MIS, and deploy Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S and TPM practices while aligning with division heads to form a united, safe, compliant team.

Qualifications

• 12–15+ years of textile manufacturing experience with at least 5 years leading a plant or multi-unit operations
• Experience handling operations at a turnover scale of Rs. 100+ Cr
• Hands-on, floor-driven production leadership
• Exposure to weaving, knitting, embroidery, or printing processes preferred
• Trained or certified in Lean / Six Sigma / Kaizen
• Strong data, MIS, and efficiency analysis
• Ability to align multiple divisions within the organisation

Responsibilities

• End-to-end responsibility for factory operations across production, planning, quality, maintenance, and dispatch

• Build shop-floor discipline, manpower productivity, and second-line leadership
• Ensure safety and statutory compliance at the factory level

• Design and implement SOPs, daily MIS, and review systems that make the factory run on process, not on individuals Deploy Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, and TPM practices across the plant
• Work in sync with division HODs and functional heads (quality, maintenance, dispatch, HR, accounts) as one unified team

Preferred candidate profile

• 12 to 15+ years Experience in textile manufacturing, with at least 5 years leading a plant or multi-unit factory operations
• Experience handling operations at a turnover scale of Rs. 100+ Cr
• Core competence in production a hands-on, floor-driven operator
• Prior experience in a professionally run textile company; exposure to weaving, knitting, embroidery, or printing processes strongly preferred
• Trained or certified in Lean / Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt preferred) / Kaizen
• Strong with data, MIS, and efficiency analysis
• A team-builder who can align multiple divisions and respect the organisation's decision-making structure
