Job summary

MBS Aluminium Industries in Gujarat is seeking a capable operations leader to oversee all factory activities, drive production plans, and manage shifts and staff performance. The role involves ensuring quality, reducing waste, and coordinating with sales, procurement, stores, accounts, and management.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in steel/aluminium manufacturing or engineering, with good problem-solving abilities and proficiency in basic computer/Excel tasks.

• Strong manpower-handling and leadership skills
• Good knowledge of production processes and machinery
• Ability to manage multiple departments and priorities
• Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Basic computer/Excel knowledge
• Relevant experience in steel/aluminium manufacturing or engineering industry will be preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage overall factory operations and production.
• Plan and achieve daily/monthly production targets.
• Manage manpower, shifts, and worker performance.
• Ensure product quality and minimize rejection/wastage.
• Monitor raw materials, inventory, and material usage.
• Coordinate machine maintenance and reduce downtime.
• Ensure timely packing, dispatch, and delivery.
• Maintain factory safety, discipline, and housekeeping.
• Coordinate with Sales, Purchase, Stores, Accounts, and Management.
• Prepare daily production and factory performance reports.
