Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee site operations, manage technical facilities, and ensure optimal performance for the Mumbai office.

You will coordinate engineering services, implement cost-control measures, and maintain high safety and quality standards. The role requires deep knowledge of building systems (HVAC, Chiller, Fire Protection, M&E, BMS) and strong vendor management, with a focus on delivering value to the client and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Senior Facilities Manager role with knowledge of building systems such as AHU, Chiller, Fire Protection, Mechanical & Electrical systems, BMS.
• Knowledge of local health and safety requirements.
• Vendor management for specialized services.
• Ability to interpret commercial contracts and manage budgets.
• Strong planning, organizational and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee site operations: ensure technical and facilities operations meet requirements, drive cost reductions, maintain performance measures and provide 24/7 emergency support.
• Lead risk management within the ORM program and follow escalation procedures.
• Manage client/stakeholder relationships across multiple levels.

Facilities Manager

will have the overall responsibility to manage the technical facilities, engineering services and all experience services for the client for day-to-day activities for the office

Duties

Site Operations Management

Responsible for technical and facilities’ operations, ensuring all requirements are met
Recommend continuous quality improvement practices and implement Industry Best Practice operations
Implement/ manage building procedures and performance measures and ensure they are maintained at all times
Review existing operations regularly and develop initiatives and strategies to reduce costs and improve operational standards
Provide comprehensive and accurate reporting relating to the Critical Environment as directed/ required – 24/7 emergency call support and site attendance is required

Risk Management

Ensure the JLL Operational Risk Management (ORM) program is implemented and maintained. –
Follow established escalation procedures and incident reporting procedures

Client/Stakeholder Management

Build and develop effective client / stakeholder relationships across multiple levels of the organisation

Procurement & Vendor Management

Ensure vendors are well-managed, delivering services on time and within budget

Contracts Management

Manage all contracts to ensure that they are professionally delivered at the right costs – Ensure expiry of contracts are well-monitored and re-procurement is initiated if needed
Ensure contracts are continually assessed to deliver best value to the client

Finance Management

Actively work to ensure that the site’s financial operations, within your delegation, are meeting or exceeding targets and control requirements including the Jones Lang LaSalle Code of Ethics

What you will bring:

• Demonstrated experience in a similar Senior Facilities Manager role with an in depth and thorough understanding of technical aspects of property (Air-conditioning, Chiller system, Fire Protection system, Mechanical & Electrical system, BMS system)
• Knowledge of local occupational health and safety requirements
• Knowledge of vendor management for specialized services
• Proven capacity to understand and interpret commercial contracts
• Strong budget management and financial analysis skills
• Demonstrates proactive & professional approach to customer service and stakeholder engagement
• Ability to interact with a wide range of client staff, including senior levels
• Excellent planning & organizational skills to prioritize work and meet tight deadlines
• Analytical, proven ability to solve problems using a quantitative approach
