Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) is hiring a Campus Manager Engineer for on-site work in Noida, UP. You will provide engineering support to the Facilities Management team, ensuring timely FM reports and maintaining preventive maintenance with energy conservation in mind.

You will assist the Chief Engineer in managing M&E scope of projects, coordinating with contractors, and delivering required services within agreed timeframes. 48 weekly hours are typical.

Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline with 3–7 years’ facilities management experience.
• Excellent people skills and ability to interact with diverse client staff.
• Experience with continuous improvement initiatives and client reporting is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support to the Facilities Management team at assigned facilities.
• Prepare timely FM reports for assigned facilities.
• Advance preventive maintenance and energy conservation practices.
• Assist Chief Engineer in managing M&E scope of projects and ensure quality deliverables.
• Coordinate facility, contract and procurement management for technical services.
• Support achievement of KPIs, SLAs and client satisfaction.

What this job involves

• To provide Engineering support to the Facilities Management team at assigned Facilities
• To ensure timely and accurate completion FM reports pertaining to assigned Facilities
• To achieve excellence in preventive maintenance programs at (Client) with highest standards and ensure energy conservation practices
• Assist the Chief Engineer in managing M& E scope of the projects to ensure the quality and deliverables with in the stipulated time
• Assist in providing comprehensive facility, contract and procurement management for technical services to the client
• Contribute to achieving financial and other targets established by the Senior Facilities Manager
• Achieve Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreements targets

Operations

• Support the Chief Engineer in managing the Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing installations & all Civil maintenance within the facility
• Responsible for preparation of critical spares list for all installations as per manufacturer’s recommendations and plan for the inventory where the maintenance is carried out with in-house teams
• Implement and oversee the pre-emptive maintenance program to reduce the risk of sudden failures of critical equipment
• Assist the Chief Engineer to review the maintenance/service practices of M&E Contractors to deliver quality work practices in line with the manufacturer recommendations
• Maintain the logbooks, checklists and PPM schedules for all M & E installations
• Manage Downtime/ Breakdowns
• Arrange for ad-hoc M&E set ups as per the client requirement from time to time
• Ensure the contractors follow the house rules at all times and the projects are handled with minimum inconvenience to the Client
• Assume AFM responsibilities if need arises
• Responsible to handle the shifts independently on all Engineering related matters

Reporting

• Responsible for daily reporting on M & E to the Chief Engineer
• Generate Service maintenance reports on office equipment’s
• Generate Inventory and Purchasing of spares and consumables
• Generate Downtime and breakdown incident reports

Key Performances Measurements

• Achievement of Contracted Service Levels and Performance Indicators
• Achievement of contracted Customer Satisfaction expectations
• Management of resource to ensure no disruption to client business
• Achievement of savings initiatives if any
• Delivery of Agreed Initiatives as per Client / Jones Lang LaSalle Initiatives Road Map
• Achievement of performance goals as agreed with manager

Education and experience Graduate in any discipline 3 - 7 years’ experience in facilities management Tertiary qualifications in either Electrical/Mechanical/Civil Engineering essential Very Good people skills and ability to interact with a wide range of client staff and demands; Demonstrated experience with continuous improvement initiatives highly desirable; Demonstrated experience with client reporting and preparation of reports required.
