Job summary

Ashok Nursing Home and Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. invites a capable Facility Manager to oversee the operations and maintenance of the hospital facility in Kolkata.

You will coordinate civil maintenance, monitor the Building Management System, and ensure reliable utilities including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety systems. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in facility management, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work independently with knowledge of applicable laws

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in facility management.
• Experience in hospital or healthcare facility maintenance preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to manage budgets and coordinate with vendors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee civil maintenance and infrastructure management of the hospital.
• Monitor and manage the Hospital Building Management System (BMS).
• Ensure smooth functioning of utilities including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety systems.
• Coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
• Supervise vendors, contractors, and in-house maintenance staff.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, fire norms, and statutory regulations.
• Maintain documentation, AMC records, and audit preparedness.
• Support infrastructure planning and facility upgrades.

Work Experience

Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Facility Manager or in an equivalent position.

Job Purpose

To oversee the operations and maintenance of the facility. The Facility Manager will be responsible for managing building maintenance, ensuring safety protocols, coordinating with different departments, and ensuring the smooth operation of the facility. The ideal candidate should have expertise in facility management, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.

Main Responsibility

Main job responsibilities of the Facility Manager are as follows (but not limited to):
