Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) Gurugram is seeking a facilities operations professional to oversee day-to-day site management on-site in Gurugram. The role covers electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems, with responsibility for safety, budget control and vendor coordination.

The position requires supervising facility staff, coordinating with vendors and ensuring regulatory compliance while driving energy efficiency and cost reductions. Scheduled weekly hours: 48; location: on-site at Gurugram HR.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily facility operations including electrical, plumbing and HVAC.
• Schedule and supervise routine maintenance and repairs with external vendors.
• Manage facility staff, supervise training and scheduling of housekeeping/maintenance.
• Develop and monitor facility budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities and control expenses.
• Ensure safety, health and environmental compliance through safe work practices.
• Coordinate with occupants, vendors and other departments for timely issue resolution.
• Maintain equipment database and track asset health across the site.
• Implement energy-saving programs to reduce utility costs and improve efficiency.
• Prepare input for the site monthly report submitted to the client.
• Respond promptly to operational and emergency situations.

• Facility operations: Oversee the daily running of the facility, including managing systems like electrical, plumbing, and HVAC, and handling general upkeep.
• Maintenance and repairs: Schedule and supervise routine maintenance and repair work, conduct regular inspections, and coordinate with external vendors for services.
• Staff and team management: Supervise, train, and support facility staff, such as janitorial and maintenance personnel, and ensure proper scheduling for daily operations.
• Budget and cost control: Develop and manage facility budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and monitor expenses for utilities, repairs, and supplies.
• Safety and compliance: Ensure the facility complies with all safety, health, and environmental regulations by implementing and managing safe work practices.
• Coordination and communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for facility-related issues, respond to occupant concerns, and coordinate with vendors and other departments.
• Maintain equipment database for site.
• Develop and implement innovative programs and processes that reduce utility costs, increase productivity and savings.
• Initiate strategies to achieve measurable improvements in energy consumption.
• Assist with churn and project work.
• Prepare / provide input to the site monthly report to be submitted to Client Understands the engineering design and operational aspects of the facility's systems and equipment. Must be able to recognize system shortcomings and respond to operational and emergency situations.
• Ensure Planned Preventive Maintenance activities are undertaken in accordance with the schedule.
• Ensure the implementation and management of Risk and Safety work practices to reduce any interruption to operations.
• Implement regular inspections of the facility on energy conservation, maintenance practices, utility management and risk management procedures.
