Job summary

Buro Happold Engineer India Private Limited is seeking a Facade Designer in Bengaluru to create CAD/Revit models and façade detailing for complex projects. The role focuses on delivering high-quality 2D/3D layouts and stage-wise drawings while aligning with BH standards and project specs.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, review docs for discrepancies, and continually enhance knowledge of façade systems.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Mechanical/Civil Engineering (minimum)
• 5+ years in Architectural/Façade consultancy environment
• Strong AutoCAD (2D/3D) and ability to interpret drawings
• Experience with façade or cladding systems and materials (advantageous)
• Experience with Revit and Rhino (preferred)
• Understanding of BIM 360/ACC workflows (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Prepare facade detail drawings, sections, and stage-wise deliverables for different façade systems.
• Develop 2D and 3D layouts for aluminum, glazing, curtain wall, ACP, and cladding systems.
• Ensure compliance with BH facade standards, regulations and project specifications
• Review construction documents to identify discrepancies and propose solutions
• Collaborate with project teams to maintain timelines and budgets
• Continuously enhance technical knowledge of façade systems and materials

Job description

We are currently seeking candidate for Facade Designer position to represent BH on our ongoing and future Projects, primarily in Bengaluru. The individual must be able to demonstrate a strong track record of working to deliver complex projects for an Engineering Consultancy.

To support façade teams through high-quality CAD/Revit modelling, detailing, and BIM delivery in alignment with project standards and best practices.

Your next role

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Architectural/Façade consultancy environment
• Strong capability in AutoCAD (2D/3D) and ability to interpret architectural drawings
• Experience with façade or cladding systems and material (advantageous)
• Experience working with Revit and Rhino (preferred)
• Understanding of BIM 360/ACC workflows (preferred)
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Proactive learning mindset.

Good to Have

• Experience creating and editing Revit families & CAD families.
• Exposure to scripting tools for automation and efficiency
• Experience in large scale or complex projects.
• Detail oriented and quality driven.
• Willingness to collaborate, share ideas and learn new tools
• Proactive, responsible and aligned with digital first workflows
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
