Job summary

• Ensure machines run efficiently; report maintenance needs.
• Enforce safety rules and clean/organized workplace.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with planning, maintenance, and quality teams; support delivery deadlines.

Fabric Supervisor Roles and Responsibilities

Supervise Production

• Monitor daily fabric production activities.
• Ensure production targets are achieved on time.
• Coordinate with weaving, knitting, dyeing, or finishing departments.

Maintain Quality Standards

• Inspect fabric for defects such as stains, holes, color variation, and weaving faults.
• Ensure products meet customer and company quality requirements.
• Work with the quality control team to resolve issues.

Manage Workers

• Assign daily tasks to operators and helpers.
• Train new employees on work procedures and safety practices.
• Monitor attendance, productivity, and performance.

Inventory Control

• Track fabric stock, raw materials, and finished goods.
• Ensure accurate inventory records.
• Coordinate with the warehouse for material movement.

Machine and Equipment Monitoring

• Ensure machines are operating efficiently.
• Report maintenance requirements and coordinate repairs.
• Minimize machine downtime.

Safety and Compliance

• Enforce workplace safety rules and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Production Reporting
