Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Operation Management: Oversee all core sewing thread manufacturing processes, including soft package formation, high-temperature cone dyeing, fully automated precision winding, and silicon lubrication applications.
• Quality Assurance: Maintain zero-defect standards by implementing strict lab testing protocols for physical thread characteristics, including tensile strength, friction coefficient, elongation percentage, and washing/rub fastness.
• Team Leadership: Lead, train, and motivate a large workforce of plant operators, soft packaging machine handlers, and winding checkers to safely achieve daily production targets .
• Inventory Control: Track raw material inputs such as raw filament yarn, staple polyester, plastic cones, eco-friendly dyes, and packaging labels.
• Production Planning: Coordinate thread variants across production lines to match diverse end-uses, effectively scheduling product ranges like Spun Polyester, Poly/Cotton Core spun, Continuous Filament Nylon, and Water-Soluble threads.
• Reporting: Maintain daily production logs, machine efficiency reports, Colour matching logs, and material reconciliation data through the customized factory ERP system for senior management review.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Education: Diploma or B.Tech/B.Sc in Textiles is mandatory.
• Experience: Minimum 8 to 10 years of hands‑on experience in textile/apparel finishing and packing units.
• Leadership: Strong team management, conflict resolution, and labor handling capabilities.
• Software Skills: Basic computer proficiency (MS Excel, Word) or experience with ERP systems for production tracking.
