Location: Central Kitchen, Bengaluru (with regular visits to HSR Layout & Jayanagar outlets)

About Us :
Roti Kulcha Naan is a growing North Indian casual dining brand in Bengaluru with two outlets (HSR Layout, Jayanagar) and a central kitchen. As we cross 50+ team members, we're building out a dedicated HR function to support our people, growing pains, and operations.

Role Overview :

We're looking for an experienced, independent HR Manager to own the full employee lifecycle across our outlets and central kitchen - from hiring to onboarding to payroll compliance. You'll be the first dedicated HR hire in the business, working closely with the founding team.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Recruitment & Hiring

• - Manage end-to-end recruitment for kitchen, service, and management roles across all locations (sourcing, screening, interviews, offer rollout)
• - Maintain and update staffing requirement trackers per outlet/kitchen
• - Build a reliable hiring pipeline for high-churn F&B roles (commis, stewards, helpers, etc.)

2. Onboarding & Employee Lifecycle

• - Design and run structured onboarding for new joiners (documentation, induction, uniform/ID issuance)
• - Maintain employee records and HR databases
• - Handle exits, full & final settlements, and exit interviews

3. Payroll & Statutory Compliance

• - Process monthly payroll accurately and on time across all locations
• - Manage PF, ESI, and other statutory compliance filings and registrations
• - Ensure compliance with labour laws applicable to the F&B/hospitality sector

4. HR Operations

• - Address employee grievances and maintain workplace discipline
• - Support performance management and staff welfare initiatives
• - Coordinate with outlet managers on staffing levels and scheduling needs
• - Maintain attendance and leave records

Requirements :

• - 3+ years of HR generalist experience, ideally in F&B, retail, or hospitality
• - Hands-on knowledge of payroll processing, PF, and ESI compliance
• - Strong understanding of recruitment for high-volume, high-turnover roles
• - Comfortable working from a central kitchen base with regular outlet visits
• - Excellent communication skills (English, Hindi, Kannada a plus)
• - Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets and HR software/payroll tools
