Job summary

NTT DATA, Inc. is seeking a Finance Management – Global professional to support NSA BPM and lead finance activities across networks. The role focuses on spend budgeting, forecasting, cost optimization, and accrual management while aligning with contract terms and cross-border recharges.

The incumbent will collaborate with networks teams to track actuals, map ledger impacts to invoices, and flag budget risks. A blend of finance acumen and telco/network knowledge is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience in Finance and Invoicing within a telco environment.
• High level Telco and Networking knowledge is required.
• Ability to understand network topology with finance skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare spend budget, forecasting, and baseline analyses.
• Analyze and report cost optimization from contract negotiations.
• Assist business planning activities.
• Track timesheets.
• Support project to BAU recoveries.
• Assist with cross-border recharges and vendor recharges.
• Assist with end-to-end accrual process.
• Flag risks by tracking actuals to budget.
• Map ledger impact to invoices and attach to POs and contracts.
• Support NSA run rate management.
• Understand contract terms for networks space.

Finance Management – Global:

Core of the role will be to provide the Finance and NSA BPM lead assistance with

• Global networks spend budget preparation, forecasting, baseline analysis/review


• Analysis and reporting of cost optimization driven out of contract negotiations (Assist with Business efficiency targets and documentation process and necessary internal attestation)


• Assist with Business planning activities which include.


• Timesheet logging tracking


• Assist to manage project to BAU recoveries.


• Assist with cost (cross border recharge and other recharges) (MAN days and vendor recharges)


• Assist with Accrual process end to end.


• Assist in flagging risks (tracking actuals to budget) overrun/underrun analysis.


• Tracking actuals at invoice level (Map ledger impact to invoices for all markets), tagging them to respective Purchase Orders and Contract workspace ID’s that must be maintained at any point in time (Crucial)


• The role will play a key part in Networks (NSA) managing their run rate effectively and not underrunning/overrunning.


• They should also have a good knowledge on commercials and contracts (contract terms) for networks space that will have a significant overlay into this role (although this vertical will sit separately)

Skill Set requirement:

• A resource who has experience in dealing with Finance and Invoicing space in a telco world would be an added advantage.


• High level Telco and Networking knowhow is a mandate.


• A resource who can understand network topology combined with finance skills is what is preferred.
