Job summary

OGS India seeks a Lead with strong accounting and analytical skills to support business finance teams, delivering robust financial performance. You will closely partner with Global Agency Finance, handling complex budgeting, forecasting, and month-end close activities across multiple units.

The role requires 6–9 years in FP&A/R2R, proficiency in Excel, and familiarity with OneStream/Cognos or similar BI tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting/finance with 6-9 years of FP&A/R2R experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and month-end close processes.
• Proficient in Advanced Excel and quick to learn ERP/BI tools.
• Experience with Dynamics AX, Cognos, OneStream is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate monthly financial statements, reports and schedules to meet deadlines.
• Post revenue and intercompany journal entries ensuring GAAP compliance.
• Analyze operating units, departments and client performance with reconciliations and management reports.
• Support SOX-compliant month/quarter/year-end close processes.

About the role

OGS India is seeking a Lead with strong accounting and analytical skills to help support the business finance teams that continues to deliver strong financial performance. Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate monthly financial statements, reports and associated schedules in a timely manner to meet monthly accounting reporting deadlines
• Prepare and submit revenue and intercompany journal entries to ensure financial statements are maintained in compliance with GAAP
• Prepare and organize management reports, account reconciliations and analysis of various operating units, departments, and clients
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close processes in compliance with SOX reporting requirements
• Review and approve p-card transactions in the BOA portal in keeping with SOX policy by ensuring project allocations and receipts are identified.
• Assist with revenue reporting to determine monthly accruals and deferrals based on client contract agreements.
• Assist with forecasting by updating and actualizing monthly budget files and loading to OneStream and Cognos analytic tool for three business units.
• Monthly variance analysis.
• Process and provide client fee estimation requests.
• Prepare internal and external audit documentation.
• Prepare working capital analysis in collaboration with Billers (AR Collections & WIP).
• Manage Euler grade requests for new clients and vendors (Credit Voyager).
• Manage multiple projects and rapidly changing priorities in a collaborative team environment while prioritizing customer service.
• Review and approve monthly Sales & Use tax calculations and payments.
• Backup for offshore Accounts Payable team during local holiday time-off.

Qualifications

Must-Have Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelors or Post Graduate Degree in accounting or finance with 6-9 years of experience in business FP&A Operations (mandatory).
• Having prior experience into R2R processes is (Preferred)
• Proficient in Advanced Excel and ability to quickly learn any new ERP or BI Tools
• Having Good Knowledge of US GAAP.
• Flexibility to take up different assignments and not limit oneself to specific set of activities
• Ability to work both independently and in a team oriented, collaborative environment
• Flexible and Result Oriented with Strong Written & Oral Communication Skills
• Experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX, MediaOcean, and Hyperion Financial Management tool is a plus
