NTT DATA, Inc. in Chennai is seeking a Finance Management professional with 5–10 years of relevant telecom experience for Hybrid work. The role covers budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, and invoicing with close attention to accruals and asset capitalization.

Candidate should handle complex cost allocations, manage contract-related financials, and support business planning and efficiency targets while coordinating across markets. Immediate joiners preferred.

Formación

• Experience in Finance and Invoicing within a telecom environment.
• Understanding of network topology with finance skills.
• Knowledge of accrual accounting and asset capitalization.

Responsabilidades

• Budget planning, mid/quarter/year close, budgeting and forecasting.
• Track actuals vs. spent and flag variances.
• Analyze risks from overruns/underran, and document findings.
• Classify invoices (T&M, Fixed Billing, etc.) and ensure mapping to POs.
• Prepare books of closures and reconcile accounts.
• End-to-end accrual process and depreciation capitalization.
• Support cost optimization and contract-related cost reviews.
• Maintain timesheet logging and cross-charge reconciliations.
• Map ledger impact to invoices and contract workspace IDs.
• Assist with project-to-BAU recoveries and cost recovery efforts.

Work Model : Hybrid
Location Chennai
Work time : 8 AM to 6 PM IST.
Relevant Exp range : 5 to 10 years.
Preference : Immediate joiners, less than 15 days of notice period.

Finance Management

• Budget (approx.. $120 Million) planning (Mid, Quarter and Year close) , preparation, forecasting, baseline analysis/review.
• Budget Tracking (actuals Vs Spent).
• Flagging risks (tracking actuals to budget) overrun/underrun analysis.
• Dealt with Invoice categories like., T&M, Fixed Billing, etc.,
• Books of closures.
• Deep knowledge with Accrual process end to end.
• Capitalization (Depreciation) of assets in Finance Management.
• Reconciliation statement.
• Assist with Business planning activities which include.,
• Assist to manage project to BAU recoveries.
• Assist with Business efficiency targets and documentation process and necessary internal attestation.
• Assist with cost (cross border recharge and other recharges) (MAN days and vendor recharges).
• Timesheet logging tracking.
• Tracking actuals at invoice level (Map ledger impact to invoices for all markets), tagging them to respective Purchase Orders and Contract workspace IDs that must be maintained at any point in time (Crucial).
• The role will play a key part in Networks (NSA) managing their run rate effectively and not underrunning/overrunning.
• They should also have a good knowledge on commercials and contracts (contract terms) for networks space that will have a significant overlay into this role (although this vertical will sit separately).
• Analysis and reporting of cost optimization driven out of contract negotiations.

Skill Set requirement:

• A resource who has experience in dealing with Finance and Invoicing space in a telecommunication world would be an added advantage.
• High level Telecommunication and Networking knowhow is a mandate.
• A resource who can understand network topology combined with finance skills is what is preferred.
