Responsibilities

• Report to the Chief Rolling Stock Expert.
• Participate in site studies and assist in the preparation of technical specifications and cost estimates for rolling stock and maintenance depot.
• Review the quality assurance plan, design management plan, and rolling stock design documents.
• Carry out specification reviews and advise clients regarding rolling stock.
• Design review of mechanical systems of car: bogies, suspension & running gear; brake system; vehicle structure; doors, etc.
• Review training manuals, operation & maintenance manuals.
• Ensure implementation of QA and QC procedures to ensure quality of supervision works.
• Serve as the interface for rolling stock with other stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical.
• 10+ years of post-qualification work experience (15+ years for diploma holders).
• 3+ years of experience in similar roles on metro projects with GC/PMC/Client/Supervision or construction firm/OEMs awarded work by the metro implementing agency (8+ years for diploma holders in Civil Engineering).
