Job summary

Schneider Electric in Bengaluru, India is seeking a senior software engineer to lead the design, development, and optimization of scalable .NET Web API solutions on Azure. You will own the full SDLC—from requirements analysis to deployment and ongoing maintenance.

You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams across geographies, applying Agile/Scrum, microservices, and modern front‑end tech like Angular or React, with MongoDB and RabbitMQ in the stack.

Job description

What will you do?

Lead and drive the design, development, and enhancement of scalable .NET Web API solutions using C# and Azure services. Own the complete software development lifecycle—including requirements analysis, architecture, implementation, deployment, and maintenance.

What are the key skills we are looking for?

• Strong proficiency inC#,.NET Core, andASP.NET Core, Web API
• Proficient in building APIs usingmicroservices architecture
• Hands on experience withAzure cloud services including Azure Service Bus,Event Hub,Key Vault, andCosmos DB etc.
• Solid understanding oftestingframeworks likeMSTest,xUnit, WireMock
• Proficient inGitHubfor version control andVisual Studio IDE
• Familiarity withDocker, Kubernetesand containerized deployments
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Knowledge of Industrial IIOT products/system is plus
• Experience with cloud-agnostic solutions (e.g., AWS, GCP, or multi-cloud patterns)
• Experience in front end frameworks like Angular and React
• Experience with MongoDB and RabbitMQ
