Popular Bajaj is seeking an Experienced Two Wheeler Technician for an on-site role in Kanayannur, Kerala. You will perform routine and complex repairs, maintenance, and servicing of Bajaj motorcycles, including engine work, electrical systems, brakes, and suspension, while ensuring manufacturer standards and safety guidelines.

You'll prepare job cards, update service records, coordinate with service advisors, keep the workshop clean, and provide clear feedback on vehicle condition and required

Qualifications

• Strong technical skills in two-wheeler maintenance and repair including engine diagnostics.
• Ability to read service manuals, wiring diagrams, and Bajaj technical instructions.
• Experience with workshop tools, diagnostic equipment and safety gear.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for Experienced Two Wheeler Technicians based in Kanayannur. The role involves carrying out routine and complex repairs, maintenance, and servicing of Bajaj motorcycles, including engine work, electrical systems, braking systems, and suspension. Technicians will diagnose issues using appropriate tools and methods, perform test rides when necessary, and ensure all work meets manufacturer standards and safety guidelines. Daily tasks include preparing job cards, updating service records, coordinating with service advisors, maintaining cleanliness and order in the workshop, and providing clear feedback on vehicle condition and recommended repairs. The role also requires following standard operating procedures, adhering to quality and safety practices, and supporting a positive customer experience.

Qualifications

• Strong technical skills in two wheeler maintenance and repair, including engine diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, and general mechanical work.
• Ability to read and interpret service manuals, wiring diagrams, and technical instructions related to Bajaj motorcycles.
• Experience using workshop tools, diagnostic equipment, and safety gear in a professional service environment.
• Attention to detail in inspecting vehicles, identifying faults, and ensuring high-quality workmanship.
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with service advisors, colleagues, and customers regarding work performed and required repairs.
• Relevant technical qualification such as ITI/Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent hands-on training in two wheeler technology.
• Prior experience as a two wheeler mechanic/technician, preferably with Bajaj or other major motorcycle brands.
• Commitment to workplace safety, punctuality, teamwork, and maintaining professional conduct at all times.
