Job description

MISSION

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Order Management & Cargo Preparation Analyst to join our logistics team. In this role, you will bridge administrative order processing with hands‑on floor operationsmanaging load capacity, generating shipment documentation in SAP, overseeing cargo picking and preparation, and ensuring accurate container loading and invoicing handoffs.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Order Management & Outbound Planning

• Load & Volume Calculation: Calculate load saturation/utilization and generate accurate volumetrics for incoming customer orders.
• Backlog & Schedule Management: Review previous day schedules to resolve pending items, reschedule open orders, and clear operational bottlenecks.
• Shipment Generation (Domestic & Export): Check stock availability and ensure full compliance with internal/external Shipping Standards.
• Generate sales order groups, shipment orders, and remissions in SAP.
• Schedule pick-up windows with carriers and customers.
• Coordinate container linkages and load binding with the Export and Transport teams.
• Manage intra-facility transfers to optimize load capacity.
• Cross-Functional Support: Provide active support for Order Management (OM), Operations, and Invoicing teams, including assisting with SAP QAS testing.

2. Cargo Picking & Preparation (Staging)

• RF & SAP Operations: Log into RF data collectors and monitor shipment queues using SAP transactions (VL06O, ZRF16N, ZRF20N).
• Equipment Safety: Conduct and document daily safety checklists for material handling equipment.
• Picking & Inventory Control: Retrieve full pallets from block storage lanes; open/close lanes safely as needed.
• Execute lot/batch scanning via RF collectors to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Rebuild and restack partial or incomplete pallets when required.
• Cargo Protection & Packaging: Prepare special cargo accessories and spare parts.
• Apply protective corner/side boards (specifically for sensitive components like capacitors and inverters) and stretch wrap as required.
• Print and affix load identification, part numbers, and markings to physical pallets.

3. Loading & Dispatch Execution

• Dock & Vehicle Management: Position empty container chassis, assist drivers with dock maneuvering, and clear/release dock ramps safely.
• Stuffing & Loading: Load goods into containers, dry vans, or curtain-side trailers while scanning batches/pallets to verify contents in real-time.
• Finalization & Invoicing Handoff: Complete physical shipment paperwork, transition orders to invoicing, apply container seals, and log seal numbers with the invoicing clerk.

4. Continuous Improvement & Governance

• KPI Tracking: Maintain and update operational metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Genchi / Gemba Meetings: Participate in and present KPI updates during daily operational floor meetings.

Qualifications & Key Requirements

• Education: Degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related fields.
• System Knowledge: Familiarity with SAP (specifically SD/LE modules and transactions like VL06O, ZRF16N, ZRF20N) and RF Data Collectors / Scanners.
• Logistics Expertise: Basic understanding of domestic/export shipping standards, container stuffing, load distribution, and packaging practices.
• Skills: Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, proactive problem-solving, and good cross-team communication.
