Job summary

Galaxy Surfactants is seeking a Logistics Dispatch Planner to independently manage EXIM dispatch planning in Navi Mumbai. You will coordinate with Planning and Customer Service teams to ensure on-time orders, perform SAP SD activities, and handle import/export shipments end-to-end.

The role requires strong initiative, communication, and collaboration, with a focus on CDI targets, documentation, and KPI-driven performance audits of service providers.

Qualifications

• Experience in EXIM logistics dispatch planning.
• Strong coordination with Planning and Customer Service teams.
• Proficiency in SAP SD for dispatch planning, execution and shipment updates.
• Ability to ensure on-time dispatches with CDI targets.
• Exposure to export/import documentation and customs clearance.
• KAM for service partners and performance audits.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and adhere to dispatch plan with Planning and Customer Service teams.
• Ensure on-time dispatches with CDI targets.
• Use SAP SD for dispatch planning, execution and shipment updates.
• Coordinate transport management and documentation with transporter and customers.
• Ensure timely customs clearance for import/export shipments.
• End-to-end handling of import shipments.
• Monitor shipments and flag deviations to internal team.
• Handle re-import shipments independently.
• Prepare qualitative monthly MIS for management review.
• Contribute to CEPs and PIPs for process and system improvements.
• Act as primary contact for customer escalations.
• Be Key Account Manager for service partners (freight forwarder, CHA, transporter).
• Conduct performance audits for service providers.

To handle EXIM logistics dispatch planning independently.

Primary Responsibilities

• Preparation and adherence with dispatch plan in coordination with Planning and Customer Service teams.
• Ensure On time dispatches with maintenance of CDI (logistic part) 96%+
• Work in SAP for activities (SD Model) like dispatch planning, execution and shipment updates
• Transport management, liaison with transporter/customer for timely vehicle placement and related documentation.
• Ensure timely custom clearance for import and export shipment
• End to End handling of import shipments
• Monitoring shipments in transit and highlight deviation to internal team
• Independently execute re-import shipment from customer
• Preparation of qualitative monthly MIS for management review
• Ideate and participate in cost efficiency projects (CEPs);
• Ideate and participate in system (SAP) improvement projects
• Primary contact point for Customer escalation
• Be a Key Account Manager (KAM) for our service partner (freight forwarder, CHA, transporter etc)
• Conduct performance audit for service providers against given KPIs

Key Deliverables
