Job summary

KSB in Maharashtra seeks an experienced Logistics/Dispatch professional to manage daily dispatch activities, coordinate with transporters and branches, and handle export documentation up to fumigation requirements. You will also oversee EWAY compliance, freight bill processing, and insurance claims related to transit, with a focus on accuracy and timely execution.

Qualifications

• Formal education: M.Com / B.Com.
• 5–10 years of experience in engineering or related industry.
• Knowledge of SAP and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day dispatch activities based on tonnage and allocate transporters.
• Prepare allocation lists and coordinate with branches, godowns, stores and transport agencies.
• Prepare export documents up to fumigation certificate.
• Generate EWAY bill as per GST.
• Process outward freight bills and manage insurance claims for transit damage.
• Oversee warehouse management (part).

Job description

Role & responsibilities

1. Carrying out day to day activities of Dispatch section, based on tonnage of consignment, arrange transporter-wise vehicle for consignment clearance.

2. Allocation list, PGI, Arranging transport, Co-ordinating with Branches, Godowns, Order Execution, Stores, transport agency for club dispatch.

3. Responsible for Preparation of Export documents including Container Export Pre & Post Shipping Documents up to Fumigation Certificate Requirement

4. EWAY bill generation as per GST.

5. Clearance & Passing of outward Transportation freight bills as per contact for domestic and export shipments, deducting penalty for delay, shortages, damages & check with LR.

Responsible for warehouse management (Part)

1. Monitoring GIT Report and intimate and follow-up with Concern Godown for clearance of GIT.

Responsible for Insurance claims management

1. Lodging insurance claims for transit damage / claims at plant due to theft, property damage etc.

2. Intimation To Insurance Company for Damage and ask for Survey for Damage / Shortage Consignment.

3. Maintaining claims register and followup with insurer for claims settlement.

Preferred candidate profile

Formal education: M.Com / B.Com

Professional experience: 5 - 10 Yrs Experience in Engineering or related Industry
