Job summary

Macquarie Bank Limited invites talented AI engineers to join its technology team in India to build production-ready AI solutions by integrating OpenAI, Claude, and Azure OpenAI into platforms.

You will develop backend APIs with Python and FastAPI, create React-based web interfaces, and deploy applications to AWS or Azure, working in an agile environment with cross-functional collaborators.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with AI APIs (OpenAI/Claude/Azure OpenAI) and cost-aware production usage.
• Strong data manipulation fundamentals with SQL/NoSQL, Pandas and NumPy.
• Cloud deployment know-how on AWS or Azure, with serverless concepts and storage solutions.
• Experience with modern DevOps practices, Docker, Kubernetes, Git-based workflows, and automated testing.

What role will you play?

In this role, you will build production-ready AI solutions by integrating services such as OpenAI, Claude, and Azure OpenAI into our platforms, focusing on practical API-driven implementations rather than model training. You will develop backend APIs with Python and FastAPI, create React-based web interfaces, and deploy applications to AWS or Azure. Working in an agile environment, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize AI solutions for performance and cost.

What you offer

• Applied AI integration expertise, including hands‑on experience with AI APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Claude, Azure OpenAI), prompt design, and cost and performance aware production usage.
