Job summary

Normet India Pvt Ltd. is seeking a safety-focused professional to manage process safety and HSE compliance on projects. You will lead safe work practices, PTW/LOTO, and incident investigations while mentoring site teams and vendors on hazard assessment and risk mitigation.

The role emphasizes ISO 45001:2018 implementation, refresher trainings, and ongoing safety reporting. A technical background in EHS with relevant certifications is preferred, and the candidate will operate on-site in Jaipur.

Qualifications

• B.Tech or diploma/ graduation with EHS diploma or fire safety certification.
• Lead auditor certification for ISO45001:2018 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure day to day activity done in safe manner.
• Set up and supervising temporary work areas with safe workdays and LTI-free operation.
• Supervise safe handling, storage and disposal of hazardous materials.
• Conduct daily safety talks, Gemba walks and safety inductions for vendors/suppliers.
• Provide job-related awareness and training; ensure PPE compliance.
• Improve workplace safety through regular awareness sessions and training.
• Maintain OSHA compliance and ISO 45001:2018 implementation and sustenance.
• Maintain HSE documentation and report incidents, accidents, and hazards with root-ccause analysis.

Key responsibilities Performance Indicators

• Ensure day to day activity done in safe manner
• Ensure PTW and filling of FLRA
• Set up and supervising temporary work areas. Safe workdays / LTI free operation
• Supervise the safe handling, storage & disposal of hazardous materials.
• Supervise the operation of any potential hazards in the workplace.
• Daily TBT, Gemba walk
• Provide safety induction to vendor /supplier who are going to perform job
• Provide job / work related awareness / training, ensure PPE compliance etc..
• Improve workplace safety through regular awareness session and training
• Training and awareness
• Ensure that all company employees meet all OSHA requirements.
• ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 implementation and sustenance
• Maintain HSE related documents for operations
• Ensure that health, safety, and environmental policies are followed.
• IMS implementation
• Ensure reporting of accidents/incidents/hazards, illnesses and investigate to discover root causes and recommend solutions to issues, improvement opportunities or new prevention measures to avoid the reoccurrence
• Incident investigation and corrective measure
• Monthly / periodic HSE reporting on awareness, issues, statistics, and reports to relevant authorities
• Monthly reports
• Maintain and update Emergency response plan and ensure preparedness through mock drills

ERP Education

• B. Tech / diploma/ graduation + Diploma in EHS / Diploma in fire safety / certified lead auditor for ISO45001:2018

Work Experience

• 4~8 Years in process safety during project phase Business Networks Lean Manufacturing / Process Excellence Background Industry - Heavy Equipment / Machinery

Requisites for performing the role

Functional Knowledge & Skills Knowledge of Safe Work (PTW, work at height, LOTO,etc..) Knowledge of basic safety rules / ISO 45001:2018 & OHSAS Experience to identify hazard and risk assessment Incident investigation, report writing HSE software understanding, usage and analytical skills Communication skill, bold and strongly stand on shop floor
