Job summary

Normet is seeking a Global Technical Training Specialist to join the CoE Jaipur to set up advanced training equipment and processes. You will develop training materials, manage documentation, and drive processes to improve training effectiveness for Jaipur-made products.

You will travel internationally to train customers on site and collaborate with R&D, production, service centers, and global teams, ensuring consistency across global training programs.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in mining and/or equipment.
• Strong technical background with underground products and technologies.
• Experience working with global teams.
• Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken; other languages are an asset.
• Sufficient IT skills, including MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Creating and updating training instructions and materials.
• Handling documentation and the development of training processes.
• Providing global training support for products produced in the Jaipur factory.
• Traveling internationally to provide training and support, including meeting with customers on site.
• Working with the global team, suppliers, and customers when visiting sites.
• Collaborating with key internal stakeholders such as R&D, production, Service Centers, and other Normet Service and Sales functions globally.

We are looking for a Global Technical Training Specialist to join our team in CoE Jaipur. This role involves setting up advanced training equipment and processes. The Global Training Specialist will be responsible for product training, material creation and upkeep, as well as documentation and development of training processes. Ability to analyze training record and data to improve training effectiveness and resource management.

Main Responsibilities and Tasks

• Creating and updating training instructions and materials

• Providing global training support for products produced in the Jaipur factory
• Traveling internationally to provide training and support, including meeting with customers on site
• Working with the global team, suppliers, and customers when visiting sites

Requirements

• Diploma/degree in engineering
• 10+ years of experience in mining and/or equipment
• Strong technical background and several years of working experience and understanding of underground products and technologies
• Experience working with global teams
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Ability to train and assist other people
• Sufficient IT skills, including MS Office
• Experience with PDM, LMS, and Tech Support ticketing systems
• Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken; other languages are an asset
