Job summary
Normet Group is seeking a Safety Professional with 4–8 years of experience in process safety to ensure safe operations on the project site. The role covers hazard assessments, incident investigations, and strict adherence to ISO 45001:2018 standards, along with PTW and LOTO controls.
You will lead safety inductions, drive awareness programs, and supervise safe work areas on heavy equipment projects within our global mining and construction portfolio.
Qualifications
- 4–8 years of experience in process safety during project phase.
- Knowledge of ISO 45001:2018 and OHSAS baseline.
- Experience with PTW, LOTO and safe work practices.

- Supervise PTW and FLRA processes.
- Set up and supervise temporary work areas.
- Provide safety induction and training to vendors/suppliers.

- Ensure day to day activity done in safe manner
- Ensure PTW and filling of FLRA
- Set up and supervising temporary work areas.
- Supervise the safe handling, storage & disposal of hazardous materials.
- Supervise the operation of any potential hazards in the workplace.
- Provide safety induction to vendor /supplier who are going to perform job
- Provide job / work related awareness / training, ensure PPE compliance etc..
- Improve workplace safety through regular awareness session and training
- Ensure that all company employees meet all OSHA requirements.
- ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 implementation and sustenance
- Maintain HSE related documents for operations
- Ensure that health, safety, and environmental policies are followed.
- Ensure reporting of accidents/incidents/hazards, illnesses and investigate to discover root causes and recommend solutions to issues, improvement opportunities or new prevention measures to avoid the reoccurrence
- Monthly / periodic HSE reporting on awareness, issues, statistics, and reports to relevant authorities
- Maintain and update Emergency response plan and ensure preparedness through mock drills
- Knowledge of Safe Work (PTW, work at height, LOTO,etc..)
- Knowledge of basic safety rules / ISO 45001:2018 & OHSAS
- Experience to identify hazard and risk assessment
- Incident investigation, report writing
- HSE software understanding, usage and analytical skills
- Communication skill, bold and strongly stand on shop floor
- Knowledge of Safe Work (PTW, work at height, LOTO,etc..)
- Knowledge of basic safety rules / ISO 4501:2018 & OHSAS
- Experience to identify hazard and risk assessment
- Incident investigation, report writing
- HSE software understanding, usage and analytical skills
