Roles & Responsibilities

• Planning and execution of monthly production targets
• Developing and implementing long‑range production strategies, including the Annual Operating Plan and budgeting of different functions
• Driving continuous improvement in product quality, safety, environment, and sustainability across all plant operations
• Ensuring compliance with statutory and legal requirements and coordinating with government agencies
• Achieving productivity improvement and cost reduction through innovative ideas
• Reporting and investigating accidents, incidents and nonconformities, and implementing corrective and preventive actions
• Building a high‑performance work culture within the unit
• Establishing an Integrated Management System and other standard guidelines under Responsible Care
• Creating a safety culture and proactive measures to meet HSE requirements
• Optimally utilizing resources, including manpower
• Developing skill sets at all levels, including contractual manpower

Educational Qualification

• ME or B.E./B. Tech in Chemical Engineering

Skills

• Practical experience working with DCS/SCADA and SAP platforms
• Hands‑on experience liaising with government agencies
• Experience dealing with external environmental stakeholders such as pressure groups and local bodies
• Critical experience running the unit despite manpower shortages and emergency situations
