• Knowledge of food safety standards, sampling, and agri-commodities testing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality inspections and audits at vendor sites for raw materials.
• Perform sampling and evaluation to ensure compliance with internal quality specs.
• Coordinate with external and in-house laboratories for testing of samples.
• Maintain COAs, lab reports, traceability records, and audit reports.
• Support vendor development and ensure implementation of food safety standards.
• Monitor vendor performance and prepare periodic evaluation reports.
• Assist during audits related to vendor quality and food safety compliance.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory and company quality standards across sourcing locations.

The role involves regular inspections, sampling, vendor audits, and coordination with labs to ensure compliance with internal specifications and food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct quality inspections and audits at vendor sites for raw materials.
• Perform sampling and evaluation of materials to ensure compliance with internal quality specifications.
• Coordinate with external and in-house laboratories for testing of samples.
• Maintain documentation including COAs, lab reports, traceability records, and audit reports.
• Support vendor development initiatives and ensure implementation of food safety standards at vendor locations.
• Monitor vendor performance and prepare periodic evaluation reports.
• Assist during internal and external audits related to vendor quality and food safety compliance.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory and company quality standards across sourcing locations.

Qualification & Experience

• B.Tech / B.Sc. in Food Technology, Food Science, or Agriculture.
• 1–3 years of experience in raw material quality assurance or vendor quality within the food industry.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sampling procedures, and testing of agri-commodities.

Key Skills

• Strong understanding of quality parameters for wheat, jaggery, and other grains
