Job summary

Caterpillar Signs in Gandhinagar, India seeks a qualified Production Planning executive to organize output per demand and industry best practices. You will ensure goods are produced on schedule and planned in line with the standard SLA.

Responsibilities include leading planning activities, preparing production reports, and optimizing resources. Successful candidates will have strong Excel/ERP skills, SCM understanding, and proven production scheduling ability. Day/night shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Should handle and lead tasks pertaining to production planning and control.
• Implementation of internal plans to ensure timely accomplishment of production targets and manufacturing.
• Preparing and maintaining entire production-related reports and timely submission.
• Able to implement effective techniques to bring efficiency in operation to improve the quality of the product.
• Undertaking resource planning for optimising effective utilisation.
• Handle various processes/applications and recommend process modification.
• Must handle Interdepartmental communication for smoother run
• Day to day communication with design, Production team for daily issues and SBD confirmation
• Monitor inventory levels and initiate replenishment actions.
• Track production execution against the plan and resolve material-related constraints.
• Tracker and Major report preparation for inhouse and Local vendor products
• Day to day communication with design team in case of file issues

Responsibilities

• Coordinate interdepartmental communication for smooth manufacturing.
• Daily liaison with design and production teams on issues and SBD confirmation.
• Monitor inventories and trigger replenishment actions as needed.
• Track execution against plan and resolve material constraints.
• Prepare major internal and external tracker reports for vendors.
• Communicate with design team regarding file issues as they arise.
