Job summary

Siemens Energy India Limited is seeking an experienced System Administrator for Software Applications to ensure business continuity by maintaining and operating critical quality software tools for the Switchgear business in India.

The role involves QA inspections, handling external stakeholders, applying 7QC tools and DMAIC, SAP for Quality, root cause analysis, and coordinating with CFTs to resolve defects, with a strong intercultural, multi-national teamwork focus.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in Quality Assurance and final product inspection.
• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Experience with 7QC tools and DMAIC methodologies.
• Strong communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Inspect pre-dispatch and final product/sub-assemblies.
• Inspect incoming materials per drawings and customer specifications.
• Coordinate defect resolutions with cross-functional teams.
• Apply 7QC tools and DMAIC for root-cause analysis.
• Utilize SAP for Quality for data and processes.
• Maintain quality standards and assist in continuous improvement.

We are seeking an experienced professional to join us as a System Administrator for Software Applications. This role is crucial for ensuring business continuity through the dedicated maintenance and operation of critical software tools for the Switchgear business in India.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Inspection of Pre dispatch Inspection of final product /Sub assembly.
• Extensive Experience in understanding and handling customer /supplier.
• Inspection of incoming material as per drawing and customer specifications.
• 7QC tools and Basic six sigma knowledge for 8D/CAPA.
• Outsourcing factory assembly knowledge.
• Co-ordinate for new defect with CFT.
• GD & T practical knowledge about the component’s topics.
• Practical knowledge SAP for Quality.
• Root cause analysis of customer complaint and inhouse NCs by 7 using QCs tools Or DMAIC.
• Good business Communication with international stakeholder.
• Expert level Communication skills for clarifying requirements/solutions and resolving misunderstandings.
• Pronounced proactive mindset and approach to serve colleagues, internal and external customers.

Our product portfolio includes AIS (upto 800 kV), GIS (upto 420 kV), Power Transformers (upto 765 kV, 500 MVA), Reactors (upto 765 kV), Traction Transformers (upto 33 kV, 10 MVA).
