Job summary

Linde Engineering invites an Executive Process Engineer in Vadodara with 3–6 years of experience to support process design for Hydrogen, HyCO, synthesis gas, CO2 removal and gasification projects.

You will simulate processes, help optimize plant performance, and prepare design basis, PFDs, mass/heat balances, and datasheets in a collaborative environment with senior engineers.

Qualifications

• Requires a B.Tech / M.Tech in Chemical Engineering from a reputed university.
• 2–5 years of experience in Process Design & Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with process simulation tools such as Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, UNISIM.
• Good understanding of Heat & Mass Balance principles.
• Familiarity with Hydrogen Technologies (SMR, Electrolysis) and HyCO & Syngas processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform process simulations for hydrogen, syngas, and CO2 removal systems based on inquiry documents.
• Assist in optimization of plant performance and economics (life cycle cost / NPV basis).
• Support preparation of Process Design Basis, PFDs, Heat & Mass Balance calculations, and process datasheets.
• Assist in equipment sizing calculations under guidance of senior engineers.
• Participate in PFD and P&ID review meetings; contribute to technical proposals with utility consumption estimates and basic process descriptions.
• Assist in plant performance evaluation and troubleshooting.

Job Description: Executive Process Engineer (3 – 6 Years Experience)

Role Definition

The Executive Process Engineer is responsible for supporting process design and engineering activities for Hydrogen, HyCO, synthesis gas, CO2 Removal and Gasification related chemical plants. The role involves understanding customer requirements, performing simulations, and assisting in the development of process design packages in collaboration with senior engineers and cross-functional teams.

Qualification & Skills

• B.Tech / M.Tech in Chemical Engineering from a reputed university
• 2–5 years of experience in Process Design & Engineering
• Hands-on experience with process simulation tools such as Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, UNISIM
• Basic knowledge of:
  • Hydrogen Technologies
    • SMR (Grey & Blue Hydrogen)
    • Electrolysis (PEM, Alkaline, SOEC – Green Hydrogen)
  • HyCO & Syngas Process
