Job summary

Linde Engineering is seeking a Senior Principal Process Engineer with 8-12 years of experience to lead process design and simulation for hydrogen, syngas, ammonia and CO2 removal facilities. You will drive techno-economic evaluations, coordinate with BD & Sales, and lead engineering deliverables across CAPEX/OPEX contexts.

The role requires advanced selection of process concepts, integration with renewables, and mentoring of a project team to ensure technically sound, commercially competitive

Qualifications

• Ideally a B.Tech or M.Tech in Chemical Engineering from a reputed university.
• 10+ years of experience in Process Design & Engineering.
• Advanced expertise in simulation tools such as Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, UNISIM or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead process design and simulation activities for hydrogen, syngas, ammonia and CO2 removal plants.
• Lead electrolyser system design and integration with renewable power profiles.
• Mentor junior engineers and review technical outputs including PFDs, P&IDs and heat/mass balances.
• Interface with clients, EPC contractors, and internal stakeholders.

Job Description: Senior Principal Process Engineer (8 -12 Years Experience)

Role Definition

The Senior Principal Process Engineer is responsible for leading process engineering activities, developing process concepts and design packages, and ensuring technically sound, commercially competitive solutions for Hydrogen, HyCO, synthesis gas, CO2 Removal and Gasification related chemical plants. The role involves close coordination with Business Development & Sales teams, direct customer interaction, and leadership in project execution and optimization.

Qualification & Skills

• B.Tech / M.Tech in Chemical Engineering from a reputed university
• 10+ years of experience in Process Design & Engineering
• Advanced expertise in Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, UNISIM, or equivalent simulation tools
• Extensive experience in:

• SMR (Grey & Blue Hydrogen)

• Support Business Development & Sales teams in:
• Technical clarifications
