Job summary

Galaxy Freight in Mumbai is seeking a skilled DG Operations & Customer Service Executive to manage DG air export shipments in line with IATA DGR. You will coordinate with airlines and internal teams to ensure smooth shipment movement from booking to final destination.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of relevant DG experience, strong documentation skills, and the ability to verify DG documents, manage bookings, and resolve discrepancies while maintaining excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with airlines for DG approvals, space allocation, and booking confirmations.
• Handle booking and documentation of Dangerous Goods air export shipments in compliance with IATA DGR.
• Verify MSDS, DGD, battery declarations, and other shipment-related documents.
• Communicate freight rates, DG surcharges, fees, and shipment conditions to customers and internal teams.
• Track shipments from booking to uplift and final destination.
• Handle shipment rejections, irregularities, and re-bookings with appropriate corrective action.
• Coordinate with warehouse, transport, and customs teams to ensure smooth shipment movement.
• Maintain accurate records of DG approvals, DGD copies, and audit documentation.
